Getting into the Xmas Spirit

Wednesday night saw the first of a few Xmas parties and it was really quite nice to be out with friends and taking in the very pretty Christmas tree that my mate AA had arranged at her gorgeous city view apartment.

The party was in full spirit with a gingerbread house cake, along with giveaway Xmas cookies shaped like trees and stars and not to mention enough alcohol and snacks to cater to an army !

There was a Christmas tree as well – and it was one of the first ones I had seen this week considering all I’ve done the past week or so is just work – work and more work ! PC240088

It just felt nice to be at a chilled out party … got to see some of my friends and actually have a conversation with them as opposed to raising my voice to be heard over the speakers at a club ! Also managed to meet a few new people which was great … although I’m sure one of the guys would have preferred to have left the party much earlier considering just how much a few of us were teasing him.

@CDS .. no need to be Grinchy this year; sure Xmas is not as exciting as we get older, but that's when it's all about mind over matter .. I'm turning 28 and still get excited over the holidays especially my birthday :) I hope you have a LOVELY new year whatever you do :)

These days i find it hard to get into the xmas spirit. Santa's magic doesnt glow from me, but i dont see the adult way either.
