I wish I was back at this waterfall ! I was in Mauritius last week for an Edu-Tour of some new properties for events; and we went out for a picnic in the nature reserve … tucked away within 10 hectares of nature – this was 1 of 5 waterfalls on the reserve.

I didn’t have my bikini with me – otherwise I would have been swimming in there ! but I did cross into the falls and get up to the rocks and managed to get some of that fresh water splashing all over me =)

Have you been to any nice waterfalls and where ? Don’t you find them to be soothing ? I love to just sit down on the grass or some rocks – soak my feet in the water and watch the water flow from the top of the falls down into the rock pools or streams.

Have a lovely Wednesday ! Don’t forget to share your #WW link if you are participating !

I love listening to the soothing sounds of the water. It looks like you had the waterfall all to yourself.

@ Praba ...I'm a big fan of nature too .. India has some lovely waterfalls too .. I've seen lots of discovery & nat geo but unfortunately only seen 2-3 small ones in real on my travels in India .. next visit to the South will check out Kuttralam :)

@ AVCr8teur .. there is something very soothing about listening to water right ? I'm an Aquarian so maybe that's why I'm so drawn to it heheh and I really did have the waterfall to myself (I just blanked out the rest of the 5 pax with me cos they didn't want to get into the water)

Listening to waterfalls makes me wanna pee! Nah.. just kidding!! :D

The sound of the falls, the beauty of the scenery, the rush of feeling the water flow all around you is something most people enjoy (apart from your 5 friends ;) but personally, tho some find me boring for it, I love waterfalls (all water bodies actually) for the sheer physics behind it! The fact that flowing water could carve its way through hard rock to form such beautiful lanscapes simply fascinates me. Look at the Grand Canyon!! And dont even get me started on the structure of a drop of water!! :)

@ Ve .. the physics is fascinating isn't it ? too bad I never paid attention in physics class (and I gave it up after 10th grade) ... it never ceases to amaze me just how amazing water bodies really are :)

@ Titaxy .. glad you like it and thanks for stopping by :)

I saw some lovely waterfalls when I lived in Oregon, and also here in PA there's some great ones at Rickett's Glen. I read somewhere there are many positive ions floating around in the mist from a waterfall that make you happy--I can believe that!

I love Mauritius! Visited the island twice. First time it was just all work and the second time I went with 'somebody'.

Saw a couple of gorgeous waterfalls, the Vic Falls in Zambia/Zimbabwe, couple in South Africa (Augrabies, Lisbon Falls, Forest Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Horse Shoe Falls, also a couple I can't remember right now) and of course Epupa falls in my beautiful country.

@ Margaret .. ooh never heard about the positive ions .. something like that should be told to everyone ! maybe that's why I'm so happy whenever I see a waterfall (big or small)

@ WSG aka The Fab Bitch .. Mauritius is an awesome place :) so chilled and laid back .. everytime I have gone there its for work :( 'nobody' to go with *sigh*
