steakandbj2Ladies, be prepared to get down on your knees (or on all fours over your man), risk a few carpet burns and blow his brains out ‘cos today is none other than Steaks & Blow Job Day !!

Alright lads, calm down now, I know you can barely control the excitement at the thought of a blow job with no frills attached !! I’m sure you deserve it after all the effort that you put in during the Hallmark Holiday last month.

Today 14th March officially entitles a man to a good home cooked (or fancy if you want to really spoil him) steak and a blowjob (without him having to ask) .. consider it to be a ‘blow-gift’ if you must.  I swear I’m not making any of this up (not that the guys would care even if I was ‘cos its all in their favour).  This holiday was started by Tom Birdsey (a radio show host on FNX Radio) in 2002,  so that ladies finally have a day to let their men indulge in simple pleasures – Food & a Blow Jobs !

Ladies what are you going to do today ? Indulge your mans’ whims and cook him that steak ? Or are you thinking of ways to give him the best blow job ever ?

Guys – do you want the steak or the steakandbjblow job ? Do you really care about the steak ? I reckon you’d replace the steak with a second blow job *grins*

Damn, what a way to spice up Wednesday !!  To add to that – The wonderful folks over at the Steaks and Blow Job Day have put together some video tutorials of how to give the perfect head and some cheeky e-cards as well if you want to give your man a heads up about what he can expect once he’s back home !

And if you still wanna have a bit of cheeky fun, why not join the Steak & Blow Job Day Game on Facebook & Twitter ?

The rules are simple:

1) @ mention Steak and BJ Day on Facebook / Twitter.
2) Favourite type of steak.
3) How you like it cooked.
4) Preferred hair colour of your partner on March 14th.

The folks at Steak and Blowjob Day HQ have drummed up the following examples.

Facebook: @steakandbjday – Sirloin – Medium/Rare – Brunette.
Twitter:
@steakandblowjob – Fillet – Blue – Red.

Go on then, be a sport – what’s your preference ?

bread heartNow this is going to be hard considering I’m a self-proclaimed dessert lover and not even remotely close to being a foodie ! Oh and I’m a vegetarian as well !

I’m going to try to go with cuisine here just so that it sounds like I have a more exotic food palate – although I’m tempted just to write dessert for all items on my list !

1/ Italian.  Pizza, pastas and risottos.  I’m a huge fan of Italian food and more so ‘cos my boy Luci (pronounced Lu-chi) really spoiled me on my trips to Italy.  I like my pizza as a plain margarita (extra cheese if you will); a nice mix sauce (or pink sauce) pasta (spaghetti, fettuccini, penne) is always comforting; and a mushroom risotto is the best meal when you want to fill-up the tummy !  Oh, and lets not mozzarella & tomato salad (especially fresh Buffalo mozzarella) ! yum yum yum !

2/ Middle Eastern.  I grew up in Dubai – need I say more ? From falafel wraps, humus & pita bread, tabouleh, lebneh, couscous, rice wrapped in vine leaves – I could live off Middle Eastern cuisine.  My absolute favourite item of food to eat is the Cheese Manaeesh from Al Reef Bakery in Dubai.  It’s a must have every time I visit there.  My bestie Nat introduced me to Burekas when visiting Israel and I find them to be divine !

3/ Japanese.  Ok as a vegetarian it’s a bit hard to really enjoy Japanese food but I love all things ‘maki’ (which is the veg sushi rolls) and Golden Tofu with peanut sauce ! I became a fan after eating at Bento Cafe in London – I just checked the menu out and now craving some Japanese food ! Ohhh bring on the Avocado & Cucumber maki rolls, and some Gyoza whilst we are on the subject !  Oh God I want to move back to London right now !

4/ Indian.  The Punjabi in me loves authentic parathas with yogurt, dal makhani, paneer makhani (only during the day ‘cos I get migraines if I eat it at night).  I do quite South Indian food such as dosas (confession I eat ‘cheese dosas’), idli and curd rice – and I really enjoyed eating off a banana leaf !! Then I like eating some really specific Rajesthani dishes courtesy of my maternal grandma.  But I can’t eat Indian food on a daily basis – it’s just way too heavy for my system !

5/ I don’t know what the 5th type of food would be.  Would any type of eggs be considered valid ? Or can I just put ‘breakfast foods’ ? That could pass for a type of cuisine right ? Or maybe if I have to pick a cuisine I’ll go with Chinese (specifically veg fried rice, dim sums, crispy seaweed with plum sauce)

Like I’ve mentioned before I’m really not much of a foodie at all – so it’s actually quite hard to pin point foods that I like to eat (and having said that – it has to be as authentic as possible otherwise I’m not eating it!)

If I had to pick 5 foods I couldn’t live without then it would have to be :

  1. Potato
  2. Eggs
  3. Bread
  4. Pasta
  5. Fruit

Finally this challenge is done – probably the hardest for me to actually do ! Why isn’t there a dessert list on this challenge ?? (note to self – must change that!)

What about you guys ? What' are your favourite foods / cuisine ? Have you got any preferences or are you a foodie by nature ? What are your top 5 foods that you couldn’t do without ? and your top 5 favourite cuisines to eat ?  Share your thoughts in the comments or put up your link to your own post !

10 day you challenge

I recently dished out some Travel Tips for Thailand, and so I thought about extending that into a more city specific post.  I had been down to Pattaya during the Songkran Festival (and no one had told me just HOW much fun that could be !)

Here are some of my general travel tips for Pattaya:

Why Are You Going To Pattaya?  That’s the first question you must answer – and if the reason is the beach or to party – then you’re in a for a BIG surprise.  Pattaya does have 3 main beaches but they are quite ‘nasty’ and very commercialized.  The beaches aren’t very clean and neither is the water – for a good beach you have to head out to the islands for a day trip or just head over to Phuket / Krabi / Koh Samui instead.  The city is full of curb-side bars which is great if you are beer drinking or fancy drinking vodka in the middle of the afternoon – however there are very few clubs that play English music at night !  Also be warned – Pattaya is notorious for its Lady-Boys and prostitutes.  I don’t recommend single girls going to Pattaya at all.  The general view is lots of older men with very young Thai women all over the place !

Getting There.  Once you arrive into Bangkok airport, its quite easy to get to Pattaya which is 2 hours away by road.  There are metered taxis from the airport to Pattaya which ‘officially’ cost 1,050 THB, plus 60 THB for expressway charges.  There are AC buses as well which are about THB 106 and can be taken from the Transport Center at the airport.songthaew

Traveling Around Pattaya.  The most common form of transport in Pattaya is a  ‘Songthaew’ which is a dark blue pick-up truck with two benches in the back and a cover on top.  Tourists pay 10 THB per ride within the city (regardless of the distance).  They are all over the city and one can easily jump on and off the trucks.

Things To Do In Pattaya:

Alcazar Cabaret.  Definitely worth watching.  Get ready to be dazzled by the famous Thai Lady-Boys ! The show is approximately 2 hours long and is a fully choreographed musical performance.  The light effects and backdrops for each sequence is truly mind blowing; and done all so quickly !! The Alcazar Cabaret is situated on Pattaya 2nd Road, with 3 daily shows at 6:30 p.m, 8 p.m and 9:30 p.m (and complimentary soft drinks through out the show)  At the end of the show if you decide to take a picture with one of the performers – they will ask for a tip – so consider yourself warned.

P4170596 Foam Party at Hard Rock Cafe.  This event happens every Saturday and it is super fun !!  There’s a 300 THB entrance which includes one drink.  The party starts at 8 p.m till 1:30 a.m.  There’s a separate section for the foam party and the HRC pool is adjacent to it.  Don’t forget to take your bikinis / swimming trunks !

There are lockers and towels available for a rate of about THB 200 which is refundable on return of the keys and towels.

Sanctuary of Truth.  Is considered to be a work of art in progress.  It’s a typical Thai structure but made out of wood, and about 105 meters in height ! It is located at 206/2 Moo5 Naklua 12 Naklua Rd. Banglamung Chonburi 20150 Thailand

Fish Spa.  If you haven’t done this – then you MUST do it ! The price ranges from 80 THB  P4140107 to 200 THB and is broken into sessions of 15 mins, 30 mins and more.  Nat and I got very lucky as we got a deal for THB 150 for an unlimited time period.  Check out my experience at a fish spa.

Sriracha Tiger Zoo.  One of the highlights of my trip with Nat was heading over to the Tiger Zoo – which is approximately 30 minutes outside of Pattaya.  Here’s your chance to get a picture taken feeding a tiger cub; being carried by an elephant and if you are daring enough – you can even sit on a crocodile ! (yup I did that!) Make sure you carry enough cash as each photograph costs between 100 THB to 300 THB.  Also make sure you that you watch all the animal shows that go on.  The best way to get there would be to take a car or hire a taxi.

There you have it … that’s the general travel advice and tips I can give you for Pattaya. I hope this comes in handy for when you plan your next holiday.  Don’t forget to check out my travel tips for Thailand.

If you have any other travel advice for Pattaya – please leave a comment and share it with all the neighbours on Blogosphere.

I’ve been feeling really blah the last two days – been having trouble sleeping; am totally overworked and yet trying to find some ‘me time’ so as to be totally rested in time for my clients’ upcoming wedding.

Despite having had a migraine the whole day – I’ve been feeling kind of guilty that I couldn’t get as much work done that I wanted to.  I got to thinking about guilty feelings and ended up thinking of all the guilty pleasures that I’ve indulged in.

So here it is .. My Top 12 Guilty Pleasures ….

1.  Chocolate. Chocolate. and More Chocolate.

Give me any chocolate – milk, dark, white – and I’ll have it.  I’m a self-proclaimed dessert-holic.  I prefer desserts to main courses.

2.  Ice Creamicecream

With lots of Hersheys chocolate syrup.  2 scoops of ice cream (vanilla & chocolate  chip) with enough Hersheys’ syrup to just spoon up once the ice cream is over.  Although I must say – having ice cream licked off your back is one of the most sensuous feelings ever !!! *sigh*

3.  Photography

It’s no secret. I love my camera.  It’s my addiction.  My sister labeled me Paparazzi and Paparazzo a few years ago.  Everyone calls me that.  They pretend to hate it when I take their pictures – but they are the first to tag themselves and complain if an album is not up on FB the next day.  Even my friends’ mum knows me as the FB Queen of Photos ! It’s a Sign ! hahaha I’ve managed to capture some really nice Mumbai Moments – not to mention lots of other views too :)

pj shorts4.  Slipping on my PJ shorts & a tank top as soon as I’m in the room.

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like dressing up unless I’m going out.  If I’m sitting at home – I want to be comfy – and that usually means getting out of my capris (I haven’t worn a pair of jeans in 2 years since moving to Mumbai – too hot!) and straight into a pair of PJ shorts.

5.  Bubble Bath.

The last bubble bath I had was in April when my mate HS  took me for a ‘don’t think just relax’ weekend.  The only thing that can top a bubble bath – is a bubble bath with a very sexy young man, hint of a stubble, and a glass of bubbly too.  Damn it.  Now I wish I had a tub in my bathroom :(

Oh I’ve romanced an ex with a bubble bath & champers .. I’m still waiting for someone to give me one.

6.  Floating in the pool.

floater 2 It’s an amazing feeling.  All sounds get drowned out.  It’s just you, and the water – becoming one.   Just a few weeks ago after my clients wedding, I managed to go for a dip and it was as if I was submerged in my secret life

7.  Being on the beach and by the oceanPB210192

I am a total water baby. I’m an Aquarian after all.  I could stare at the ocean all day.  I loved going snorkeling in Mauritius (even though I’m snorkelingscared of fish – yes – really I am) and was almost traumatized when my mate (and now ex boss) threw breadcrumbs which led to a large school of fish all charging in my direction ! And I got to see more than just a whale’s tail :)

8.  Manicures & Pedicures .. and Waxing too !  manicure

I’m not a girly girl – but I love my  trips to the salon.  It’s a few hours of just ‘me’ time me.  I love French manicures (yes those are really my nails).

My sore feet need pedicures after the long hours of dancing. And I really don’t like having body hair

9.  Movie / TV Show marathon

Every now and then, I like being on my own and watching show after show – particularly CSI, Entourage & How I Met Your Mother.  All of this because of my cousin NC.  We’ve gone through ‘House’, ‘The Mentalist’ and enough movies lazing around on her couch.

10.  Sandals.  Slippers. Any Foot Wear.  I am a total footwear fanatic. I have about 80 pairs of sandals.   It’s just a shame that currently all I’m doing is wearing flats =( damn that taxi !

11.  Handbags.  Which woman doesn’t love handbags ? I go out of my way to pick them up.  There was a time, I must have had all colours to go with outfits – and various styles.  These days – nothing has changed – except I am carrying more of my mums’ funky designer bags (which she’s donated to me – recession peeps!).  Fendi, LV, Gucci – I love you all !

12.  Scoping out Blogosphere

blogosphere There are so many fantastic bloggers out there. I’m constantly discovering new blogs; new ideas & ideologies.  In a way – I feel that blogging has made more ‘aware’ of everything around me – that there is this alternative realm outside of my immediate presence where actions & reactions occur simultaneously.  I’m more in tune with the universal spectrum and that is a different level of pleasure altogether.

That’s all the guilt that I’m holding on to … what about you ? What are YOUR guilty pleasures ? Come on – I’ve shared mine – it’s only fair that you tell me what yours are :P

If you haven’t already done so – why don’t you make a list of your guilty indulgences and leave the link for me in the comments section so that the rest of the neighbours and I can drop by and check them out :)
