Cold Feet is a poem about the man at the altar procrastinating so long that he loses the girl who walks out on him.

Cold Feet

Jazz music unable to sway reaction
bike pedal simply stuck in idle
maddening state of razzle-dazzle
driving you almost suicidal

Many moments blink like popcorn
blueberry gowns and her in white
great wrench in life’s works
feeling now like some plight

No great processor of solutions
hooked in returning procrastination
love not some deciduous usufruct
so moment ends in desolation
