I’d gone to Thailand with my girlfriend Nat last year and even though we’d heard of the ‘insect food carts’ – I never thought it would be like this !!!
Could you eat from an insect cart ? Would you pick the scorpions or the cockroaches ? Or the other weird giant maggot like things ? I’m a vegetarian so I’m gonna just PASS !!

when i was there, this guy ordered a plate of the worms along with some beers. The yellow coloured ones, top right photo. I thought id better try one, had a nibble and they were so good i finished off the plate. Basically tasted like fries, but were lighter, and had lots of chilli in them. probably more protein too..yummy! didnt fancy the roaches n grasshoppers - maybe next time.
